Chambermaid, The

Cheese and rice, what we have here is a honest to goodness snuff film. Well maybe not, but it’s certainly the closest thing you’ll see to a snuff film out of a widely distributed DVD. The sex and gore were of snuff quality, but it held a little too much plot to be a true snuff.

As you can tell from the title, this movie is about a chambermaid. This chambermaid was played by Fiona Horsey. And make no mistake; you cannot compare her to a horse. She didn’t really have the confidence of a seasoned veteran, but she sold the part and made it believable. She looks quite stunning in the nude as well.

The chambermaid is a loser basically, and teeters on the brink of termination daily. She has a loser boyfriend who’s trying to start a band but he snorts candy every time he gets a chance and is ultimately always in trouble somehow. Fiona is addicted to his sex however, and always seems to bail him out of his messes.

One day at work in the hotel, a guest asks her for sexual favors. While not being a prostitute, she does need money and takes him up on his offer. She proceeds to just give him a hand job, although he wanted much more. He gets mad and tells the hotel owner she stole money from him. The owner promptly fires her.

Fortunately for her, the owner likes to get so wasted he can’t remember anything. Later that night she climbs into his bed and lies and tells him they had sex. He believes her and thus she saved her job. He becomes infatuated with her, and long story short she ends up moving in with him. Only she refuses to give him any sex.

The owner also has a sick mother in a hospital. While visiting her, he discovers sedatives. He gets the bright idea that he can use the sedatives to knock out Fiona and have his way with her. He proceeds to do so every single night for some time.

Of course Fiona and her real loser boyfriend eventually find out about this. Lets just say the cliché “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” rings true her. Instead of calling the cops, she comes up with a masterful plot to enact her revenge. This is where things start getting interesting.

This movie does not pull any punches and goes all out. There are scenes of rape, torture, chained up women, and drug abuse. In my favorite scene in the movie Fiona gets what it commonly known as a “facial” and she proudly shows this off. Wolfgang Buld directed this piece and I must say he is one sick individual. I’m glad he’s directing.

I usually do not enjoy movies of this nature. I love horror and I love porn, but there is a point where it goes too far. However, I did not get that out of this movie. It was perfectly watchable and it didn’t feel icky or creepy. Scenes that should have made me feel icky didn’t, due to the high production quality and solid acting.

Most films of this nature fall into two categories. So over the top it’s comical, or so over the top it’s hideous. Well this film seemed to somehow find the balance between the two extremes. The story sucked me in, hook, line, and sinker. It’s a decent piece and I would recommend at least a rent. But please check ID’s at the door. This is way to graphic for younglings.
